Anxiety Relief Group

 

We will be holding and anxiety relief group at The Natural Health Center, 667 Prairie Flower Road in Joplin. This group will be held for 3 consecutive weeks on Wednesday evenings, starting May 17th. The group will run for around an hour and a half the first evening but may run a little shorter the following nights as we get proceed with the process. Limited space is available so if you are interested please sign up asap.

We will be using several different and proven techniques to help you find relief from anxiety. These techniques include EFT, also known as emotional freedom technique, hypnosis, CBT methods and a method known as the 5-minute miracle {although this method actually only takes about a minute to do}! We will be anchoring a feeling of calm into the mind and learning a very quick method that you can use for instant stress relief

 

What is anchoring?

Have you ever smelled something and it just immediately took you back to that time, place and feeling? This can bring back so many good feelings and a memories with it. This is called an Anchor. The smell is the anchor and it is attached to the memory and everything about that memory. This is because that smell is “anchored” in your subconscious mind.

During our group we will be intentionally anchoring the feeling of CALM into our subconscious mind. This way later, in the future, when you want that feeling, it will be easily recalled for you. This anchor is something, that if practiced, will stay with you for a life time. We will meet for a couple weeks in a row to ensure that this anchor for you lasts for as long as it is useful to you.

 

What is hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a natural state that you go in and out of several times in a day. Have you ever been driving and “zoned” out not really even paying attention to driving? This is called highway hypnosis. It occurs when our brain waves slow down into what is called the Theta state. While driving, you were probably day dreaming, or coming up with good ideas or just off in neverland while your subconscious mind allowed you to arrive to your location safely. We use this natural state of deep focus and rest to anchor into the subconscious the feeling of calm. It is a very enjoyable experience.

This group will not only be informative and healing but it will also be fun.  We will learn some neat tricks for the mind that you can share with friends to show them the importance of how they think. We will learn some quick methods that you can use for yourself and for those you love if ever they were in need of a quick stress relief or having a panic attack.

The cost of this 3 evening workshop is $100. You can pay half now to hold your spot and half the first evening of the workshop if you would like to split the payments up. This cost includes all materials.
