Stress Reduction and Trauma Recovery Techniques Training

 This Training will be done weekly for 5 weeks. Each week our area of focus will change The trainings will be a couple of hours each session, times may vary depending on attendance.

In the first session of this Stress workshop we will learn EFT, emotional freedom technique. This is a very powerful way to heal and release trauma in a relatively quick and efficient mater. It allows the participant to express how they feel with words and creates something known as a polar shift in their energy. This shift can free up stuck thoughts and ways of thinking in a matter of minutes. The participant should, if performed correctly , feel an energy shift and change in their mood and how they feel about the incident or traumatic event.

We will learn the intricacies of EFT and learn how to hear beyond what is being said as to better help your clients. We will have lots of practice using these techniques with practical sessions during class time. Those learning will not only feel confident in their abilities to help others with EFT, but will be able to help others with their own emotional traumas during the class. This will allow for confidence building as well as ingraining the methods for later use in the field, the office or at home. Homework including practice hours will be given. - 3 hours in class

 

In the second session we will go over EFT, do another practical exercise with it and answer any questions. We will then learn a couple of different stress reduction techniques. These can be used with coworkers and in the field. One of the techniques is extremely valuable for anyone suffering through a panic attack. This same technique can be used for nervous energy and has a variety of other applications.

We will do a lot of practical time with this technique as well so everyone is confident to use it. We will also learn how our thoughts/our energy an be directed and show ways that it can help or hinder in certain high stress or traumatic situations. -2.5 hours in class

 

In the third session we are going to Anchor in the feeling of calm. This can be used in the future at any time by those who have participated. An anchor is something that is ingrained in the subconscious and can be recalled at a later date to evoke certain feelings. Using the anchor of calm, focus and in control will allow participants in high stress situations to be in control and will allow them to speak to those who are in critical situations also in a very calm and in control manner. - 2.5 hours in class

 

In the 4th session we will learn about transference. How participants can use their words and visuals to help the people they work with or come across that may be in high stress, life threatening or dangerous situations. By using the naturally induced trance state of those who are suffering through trauma or high stress you can help them to improve their outcomes, get critical information from them and have them assist in their own healing. 1.5 hours in class

 Our 5th session we will create scenarios and use the practical application of all of the previously learned materials. Participants will practice on each other and myself as I guide them through the processes. The more practice and the more comfortable participants are with what they have learned the more likely they are to use it.
